Dr. Torrez graduated with a BS in Chemistry from M.I.T after attending high school in Austin, Texas. She started her path to veterinary medicine by earning a BS in Zoology at the University of Texas with honors, then gained experience working at the Austin Zoo and Town Lake Animal Center. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Torrez enjoys internal medicine, dermatology and dealing with animal behavior cases. In addition, her love of cats and their specific needs is her special focus. Dr. Torrez loves spending time with her husband, son, a French Bulldog named Deacon and her Siamese mix cat, Skippy Jon Jones, when she is not in the office.
