Patient Care Advocate
Alicia moved to Central Texas from Florida in 2014, but is originally from Massachusetts. She majored in psychology and minored in biology at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, wanting to learn more about both humans and animals. After graduating in 2007, Alicia sought a career that would cultivate and strengthen the human-animal bond that she had become fascinated with. She found that veterinary medicine naturally did just that, and working in the field was a unique way to help both humans and their animal companions alike. Her favorite part of the job is “creating life-long bonds with patients and their families and knowing that we are making a difference in pets’ lives.” She, her husband, and their two kids have a Pomeranian named Inky and an orange tabby named Ernie whom they love dearly!
