Patient Care Advocate
Jade is a veterinary assistant that has been a part of our team since October 2019. In 2016 she received an associate’s degree in liberal arts from San Antonio College. She has been working with animals professionally for over ten years. Her career started volunteering at The Ark Pet Hospital in San Antonio, where she was hired and continued to work for five years as a veterinary assistant. She became a Certified farrier in Advanced Farrier science in 2015 at the Texas Horseshoeing School in Scurry, Texas, in which she continues to work on specializing in mini-pony and donkey hoof care. To unwind, Jade enjoys taking her two pups, Barry and Lego, on long walks through the Austin area’s local parks.
